CSC to distribute Futureflex ABF system

August 2, 2001 Sumitomo Electric Lightwave Corp. recently announced that it has entered into a distributor agreement with Communications Supply Corp. (CSC—www.gocsc.com). Under the terms of the agreement, CSC will distribute Sumitomo's FutureFlex (www.futureflex.com) air-blown fiber optical-cabling system in the United States. CSC has more than 30 branches nationwide.

According to Richard Herwig, national sales manager for Sumitomo's enterprise network group, "Working with CSC will allow VARs to order shorter than 'put-up' lengths and also provide them with knowledgeable product application and selection assistance."
