Agilent Technologies has released version 2.1 for the WireScope 350 Category 6 cable analyzer (www.wirescope.com). The new software enables the WireScope 350 to automate the process of cable labeling and also introduces auto-cancellation technology that makes highly accurate certification of Category 6 channels possible. The WireScope 350 also supports Category 6 testing with a universal link adapter, Link SmartProbe which would make purchasing a manufacturer-specific link test adapter to match the connecting hardware in the channel under test unnecessary.
