General Machine Products (www.gmptools.com) has appointed Tom Parry as director of manufacturing. Parry is responsible for the day-to-day administration and production of GMP's entire line of construction tools and equipment for the telecommunications, power-utility, and cable-television industries.

Parry was formerly operations head at Hutchinson Industries in Trenton, NJ. He also has served in manufacturing-management positions for the Langston Corp. and J.E. Longergan.
