Con Edison Communications appoints telecom veteran to board

October 25, 2001 Kathleen Perone has 23 years of senior-management experience in the telecom industry.
Con Edison Communications (www.electricfiber.com), a New York-based provider of fiber-optic services throughout the five boroughs and Westchester, has appointed telecommunications industry veteran Kathleen Perone to its board of directors.
In the past 23 years, Perone has held senior management positions at telecommunications companies including Level 3 Communications, MFS International, Cable & Wireless Communications, Lightnet, and American Satellite. She is now the founding partner and managing director of Accappella Ventures, LLC, which invests in early-stage telecom and technology infrastructure companies.
