Corning Cable Systems (www.corning.com/cablesystems) announced the opening of a new production facility dedicated to providing Optical Manufacturing Services (OMS) optically-focused contract manufacturing services. Corning manages every aspect of the manufacturing process, including product fabrication, testing, and packaging in optical manufactruing services. The new facility is located in Hickory, N.C., near Corning Cable Systems' existing Specialty Cable Plant. Production has already begun at the new location.
