Timberline Connectivity Launches New Loopback Test Adapters

April 19, 2001 Timberline Connectivity, Inc. (www.timberconn.com) announced the immediate availability of their LC and SC Armadillo Loopback test adapters. The Armadillo Loopback is designed to test transmission and receiver capabilities by simulating optical links for data networking equipment. The Armadillo Loopback features a ruggedized shell protecting the fiber optic loop from being snagged, twisted, or broken. The Armadillo Loopback offers color-coded shells for easy fiber type identification: yellow for 9/125 Single Mode fiber, orange for 62.5/125 Multimode fiber, and green for 50/125 multi-mode fiber. Black is available in both Multimode and Single Mode and blue is available for users with a single fiber type application. The Armadillo Loopback is also available in variable attenuation levels. The Armadillo Loopback is engineered with the customer in mind by providing the user with built in lens cap holders in the armored shell.
