May 8, 2001 BeAtHome.com, Inc. (www.beathome.com) announced its plans to sell its products solely through its certified Sales Partner channel beginning May 15, 2001, meaning a discontinuation of direct sales by the company from its www.BeAtHome.com web site. The announcement coincides with the unveiling of enhanced revenue-sharing opportunities for BeAtHome Partners and the roll-out of PartnerConnection, the company's new Partner-directed web site.
The company's existing informational company web site will remain intact. The difference now will be instead of ordering directly on line from www.BeAtHome.com, a customer will simply be connected with a BeAtHome Sales Partner.
BeAtHome is also introducing PartnerConnect, the company's new Partner-only web site. BeAtHome Partners use this site to order customer systems, allowing them to ensure each customer's system comes pre-configured ready for simple installation.
