Gould Names Pilevar Director of Advanced Components

May 2, 2001 Gould Fiber Optics (www.gouldfo.com) recently formed an advanced-components development group, which is headed by Saeed Pilevar, PhD. Pilevar has been with Gould since 1999, where he has led the research-and-development department in the packaging and development of inline fiber-optic based wavelength-division multiplexing components.

The advanced-components development group will be responsible for research and development of inline fiber-optic components, Fiber Bragg gratings, and related technologies for WDM applications. In his new capacity, Pilevar reports directly to general manager and president Terry Basehore.
