Anixter Purchases Certain Assets of Anicom Inc.

Anixter International Inc. (www.anixter.com) has agreed to buy certain inventory and operating assets from the bankruptcy estate of Anicom Inc. The assets being acquired are located in the Detroit, Michigan area. The acquired assets and recently hired sales people will be combined with Anixter's existing operations in the Detroit area in the near future.
