SPL Integrated Solutions appoints GM for TexelSPL

January 25, 2008 -- Mr. Chris Mitchell was named as the general manager for TexelSPL, SPL's division that designs and installs infrastructure network cabling for voice, data and communication systems.

January 25, 2008 -- SPL Integrated Solutions announced that it has hired Mr. Chris Mitchell as the general manager for TexelSPL. TexelSPL is SPL's division that designs and installs infrastructure network cabling for voice, data and communication systems. The majority of TexelSPL customers are corporations, educational institutions, governmental agencies and military bases in the Mid-Atlantic states.

Chris Mitchell is a BICSI RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) and joins SPL with over 24 years of operational and design experience. He will be responsible for all activities at TexelSPL.

Commenting on his new position, Mitchell said, "I am pleased to join TexelSPL at a time when the effective convergence between the networking infrastructure, which TexelSPL provides, and AV systems, which SPL provides, is becoming critical to the successful implementation of technology. The TexelSPL product offering is the essential layer 1 foundation for advanced collaborative communication systems. I want to focus on becoming the most efficient and cost-effective cabling provider for clients who are installing systems that require high-bandwidth communication."
