Spencer Technologies acquires The Burnham Company

January 22, 2008 -- Spencer Technologies announced its acquisition of The Burnham Company, Inc., a regional structured cable and infrastructure installation company. Both companies are based in Worcester, MA.

January 22, 2008 -- Spencer Technologies announced its acquisition of The Burnham Company, Inc., a regional structured cable and infrastructure installation company. Both companies are headquartered in Worcester, Massachusetts. The acquisition was completed on January 3, 2008.

Spencer Technologies president Dave Strickler comments, "Burnham excels in the execution of large structured cable projects for schools and colleges, hospitals, government agencies, financial firms, libraries, museums, corporations, and research and technology companies. This acquisition strengthens our ability to perform this type of project on a national basis. It will also provide Burnham with the financial resources and organizational depth to continue to grow throughout New England."

Burnham will continue to operate under its own name as a division of Spencer Technologies, providing consultation, design, installation, testing and certification of infrastructure cabling through established relationships with major contractors and national service installers.
