December 5, 2008 -- Panduit has announced its sponsorship of the QLogic NETtrack Developer Center. Via the initiative, industry partners, developers and customers can now gain hands-on experience with Panduit products in a high performance computing (HPC) cluster environment.
According to a press release, the NETtrack Developer Center provides QLogic customers and alliance partners with the "test tracks" and engineering staff to test drive their demanding applications on high core count clusters. By teaming with QLogic to integrate best-in-class fiber and copper cabling systems into the development program, Panduit aims to help customers leverage the latest technologies to improve the interoperability and performance of their applications within multi-core HPC ecosystems.
"Panduit's Unified Physical Infrastructure vision is driving the next generation of infrastructure design and management," says Ron Partridge, vice president of global sales and marketing at Panduit. "Our participation in the QLogic NETtrack interoperability initiative enables the developer community to specify the most reliable, robust infrastructure available for their HPC applications."
