December 11, 2008 -- Raritan has added to its data center management portfolio a new space-saving KVM console, featuring an integrated 19-inch LCD display and durable keyboard and touchpad, that is designed to provide easy, at-the-rack access to servers.

With its large, high quality resolution (1280 x 1024) KVM console display, the Raritan T1900 helps manage servers in data centers, server rooms and other space-constrained environments. The LCD KVM console -- used in conjunction with KVM switches -- help IT administrators manage the setup, administration and maintenance of rack-mounted servers. The console's on-screen display and front-panel controls allow IT administrators to switch from server to server easily.

The Raritan T1900 supports servers running Windows, Sun, Linux and other operating systems. Designed to fit in tight spaces, the 1U console requires a fraction of the space of a full-sized KVM, claims the company, and consumes less energy than solutions with CRT monitors. The console comes with a combined PS/2 and USB cable, so no additional cables are required.

The T1900 LCD KVM console is priced at $1,895.
