October 27, 2008--ICC's high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) connector is a feed-through female-to-female modular device. It has 99.99% oxygen-free copper conductors, 24k gold-plated connectors, and copper foil shield for EMI/RFI rejection.

According to ICC, the connector has been tested to exceed the HDMI v1.3 standard while supporting standard enhanced and high-definition video (up to 1080p). I features eight channels of pure digital video audio on a single cable.
