POF 2008 highlights plastic optical fiber advances
July 25, 2008 -- The 17th Annual International Conference on plastic optical fiber, POF 2008, will be held at the Santa Clara Convention Center August 25-28.
The event consists of a tutorial day on Aug 25, followed by conference and exhibition programs on Aug 26-28. A pre-conference workshop on "Designing with POF" will be held August 20-22, also at the convention center.
Information Gatekeepers Inc., a Boston-based conference and show organizer in the telecommunications field, is organizing the event. The conference program will cover a variety of POF applications, from race cars to home networks and active optical cables. It will also highlight technological advances that promise to improve POF performance and broaden its appeal.
