April 17, 2008 -- Acme Packet , a provider of session border control platforms, announced that its fourth annual worldwide user conference, Interconnect 2008, will be held November 16 - 18 in Miami, Florida. The conference gives Acme Packet's service provider, enterprise and contact center customers the opportunity to share their experiences and learn about pragmatic solutions to the challenges of delivering next-generation network services.
Interconnect 2008 will cover business and technical topics ranging from fixed-mobile convergence, IMS, femtocells, VoIP security, IP contact centers, and SIP trunking. Sessions will include presentations, debates, and interactive panel discussions where Acme Packet's customers will discuss their experiences and insights, and Acme Packet will share its vision for the role of session border controllers in fixed/mobile IMS architectures, enterprises and contact centers. Senior staff from Acme Packet's product management, engineering, customer service and manufacturing teams will be available for interactive discussions throughout the event.
"Our Interconnect user conference is an informal way for our customers to meet and interact with possible partners and learn more about what Acme Packet and others are doing to promote and advance the next generation of communications," remarks Seamus Hourihan, Acme Packet's vice president of marketing and product management. "We have a wide range of very successful customers from many different parts of the world, and they all bring a unique and invaluable perspective to the conference. We're happy to be able to foster an atmosphere of knowledge-sharing and networking that help to further our collective goals for delivering trusted, first-class IP interactive communications."
The invitation-only event is exclusively for Acme Packet's service provider, enterprise and contact center customers, or qualified prospects responsible for the business or technical aspects of next-generation IP and IMS wireless or wireline networks and deployment of Acme Packet session border controllers. Registration will open later this spring on the Acme Packet website. For additional information or to request an invitation, visit www.acmepacket.com/interconnect2008.
