comCables names sales director

February 21, 2008 -- The Colorado-based independent distributor of low voltage systems products announced the hiring of John Baker as director of sales.

February 21, 2008 -- comCables (Denver, CO), an independent distributor of low voltage systems products, announced the hiring of John Baker as director of sales.

Baker brings to the company 30 years of experience in areas of systems integration including access control, security, CCTV and fire systems, manufacturing and distribution. Prior to joining comCables, he served as a consultant for sales and operations for national and international technology systems requirements. He has also served as director of sales and executive vice president for national low voltage organizations, as well as having operated his own systems integration company.

Baker has an MBA in strategic management and a Bachelors Degree in business administration, as well as certifications in NICET II, CTS, project management, and Multiple Solution Based Sales Leadership courses. He has also served as an Army Ranger with Distinction.

comCables provides products for applications including access control, audio, computer networking, home automation/theater, intercom and paging, nurse call, fire alarm, satellite, security, sound, surveillance, video, voice/telephone, and wireless.
