New from Specialized Products Company (SPC), the TrueConect TC100 ratcheting crimper is equipped with two crimp cavities for the flexibility to crimp RJ11, RJ12 and RJ45 modular plug types with one connector crimp tool. The TC100 features three crimp profiles and three cutting/stripping functions with no need to change die sets. SPC says the crimper's sturdy handle and smooth ratcheting cycle ensures a complete crimp. The tool also features a built-in cable cutter that strips 6 and 8 conductor flat and round telco and data cables for Cat5, Cat5e and Cat6 media.
Priced at $44.95, the TrueConect TC100 ratcheting modular plug crimper is designed for daily use by cable installers and AV, security, commercial, residential and IT professionals. The tool provides the ability to crimp both shielded and unshielded twisted pair cables. As part of its TrueConect line, SPC also recently introduced a series of RJ-Type modular plug connectors and strain relief boots.
