Today's data centers are preparing for major transformations to support I/O consolidation, higher throughput and less network complexity.

A video of a recent webinar from Cisco, made available on Youtube, addresses ways that today's data centers are preparing for major transformations to support I/O consolidation, higher throughput and less network complexity. The premise of the session is that new data center standards have evolved to support these requirements, while maintaining high availability, low latency and simplicity within the data center network infrastructure. The webinar provides an overview of key evolving networking standards, why they are important, and how they are implemented in Cisco technologies.

Topics covered include 40G and 100G Ethernet; Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE); Data Center Bridging (DCB); and Transparent Interconnection of Lots of Links (TRILL).
