March 5, 2009--JDSU will debut its latest fiber inspection tool, the HP3-60, in wholesale supplier Cables Plus USA's booth (#936) at AFCOM's Data Center World 2009 in Las Vegas, March 8-12.
The JDSU HP3-60-series system combines fiber inspection and optical power measurement into a single handheld device. Integrating these two fundamental optical tools into one handheld device, says JDSU, results in a significant increase in workflow efficiency and decrease in total inspection and test time.
The push-button HP3-60 system, derived from the company's HD3 series, is designed to provide high-quality image resolution in a compact, portable design. The power meter is designed for fast and accurate field measurements of optical power and attenuation, while the inspect-test process procedure establishes optimal workflow practices.
By joining together two of the most basic fiber-optic tools into one unit, JDSU says the device will help technicians avoid the leading cause of network downtime--contaminated fiber.
