March 7, 2009 -- Daikin America recently promoted Gary Stanitis to the position of market focus manager. In this role, Stanitis will manage the company's market focus group in developing new applications, markets, and customers for existing and new products.
Stanitis has been a Daikin America employee since December 2004 specializing in wire and cable. He has worked in the fluoropolymer business for approximately 25 years, according to Daikin.
Daikin America is a wholly owned subsidiary of Daikin Industries Ltd. of Osaka, Japan.
