HellermannTyton presents line of non-adhesive cable markers

August 3, 2006 -- The non-adhesive, cross-laminated polyolefin tags feature die cut cable tie slots for mechanical fastening.

HellermannTyton, a developer of industrial identification products, has introduced its TipTags line of cable markers. The non-adhesive, cross-laminated polyolefin tags feature die cut cable tie slots for mechanical fastening.

The TipTags are designed to mark wire bundles or large cables, and can be used with the company's T18 - T30 series cable ties. "Ideal for applications where exceptional print performance and long-term service life are critical," the company says the cable markers are lightweight, but offer superior strength and tear resistance for long-term applications.

A thin profile allows the markers to print easily in thermal transfer printers. The markers are printable on both sides. Pre-cut sensor slots ensure that the product will work inside any thermal transfer printer.

The TipTags are perforated in a bandolier for easy kitting and access to individual markers. The markers are also halogen-free for low smoke and low fire hazard applications, as well as ROHS-compliant and in conformance with Mil-Std 202G, Method 215J, and SAE-AS81531 specifications.
