Graybar, a distributor of communications and electrical products and related supply-chain management and logistics services, has named Paul H. Koebbe as national market manager - security. In the position, Koebbe will be responsible for leading the company's security marketing initiative.
"Security is an important extension of our significant comm/data and electrical businesses," comments Michael Dumas, Graybar's vice president of comm/data business. "Demand for security solutions remains strong, and Paul will help us to further capitalize on this trend.
The company notes that in 2004 it expanded its traditional electrical and communications product portfolio to include security and notification products to address the growing demands of building design, construction, and IS professionals.
"Having the right security solutions will enhance our comprehensive offering of low-voltage building subsystems, and enable our sales organizations to deliver complete IP technology solutions that work to our customers' advantage," adds Dumas.
