Specified Technologies introduces MAX version of EZ-Path raceway

Jan. 28, 2006
Jan. 28, 2006 - Product has more than twice the cable capacity than the original EZ-Path 33 Series Pathway.

Specified Technologies, Inc. has introduced a new "MAX" version of its EZ-Path raceway product line.

The product features a cable loading of more than 240 Category 5 cables. EZ-Path MAX has more than twice the cable capacity than the original EZ-Path 33 Series Pathway. This increased capacity allows for larger cables of all types, including datacom and power.

With nothing to adjust, remove, reinstall or trim, EZ-Path MAX is designed to be an automatic cabling firestop system. It utilizes an enhanced version of STI's patented self-adjusting mechanism that automatically keeps the pathway sealed whether cables are added or removed. The raceway is fully protected and always fire and smoke compliant whether completely empty as installed or completely filled.

EZ-Path MAX systems are UL classified and available for common floor and wall constructions with ratings up to and including four hours. Using the new MAX Grid system, they can be ganged to provide even greater cable capacities or segregation of cables by use, type, installer or vendor as desired. A new feature allows EZ-Path MAX pathways to attach to each other and install as a single unit, further reducing labor and assuring perfect alignment. Up to five pathways can be installed within the typical 24" wall stud spacing.

Specified Technologies Inc. is based in Somerville, NJ. For more information visit www.stifirestop.com.
