Windy City Wire to move headquarters
November 2, 2006 -- Windy City Wire announced that it anticipates moving its headquarters from Hillside, Illinois to Bolingbrook, Illinois in January of 2007. The company says the new headquarters facility will account for the considerable growth it anticipates in the future.
According to a press release, the new headquarters facility encompasses 115,000 sq. feet; this amount of space will allow the company to keep more inventory available on-site, allowing it to more quickly respond to customer demand.
Windy City Wire has been operating for 12 years. The company's flagship SmartWire platform is a low-voltage wire and cable product that has the qualities of a tape measure, tester, toner and label maker. The company serves a variety of system contractors including those for security, access control, CCTV, fire alarm, temperature control and home automation.
