December 14, 2006 -- Siemon (www.siemon.com) has announced the release of its latest structured cabling and network connectivity catalog. The company says the new, free catalog arranges products into appropriate systems to simplify the process of selecting an end-to-end cabling infrastructure.

According to Siemon, while the new format represents the key products in each of the company's high performance systems and includes the same in-depth product information and specifications, it has also been condensed to help users efficiently and quickly identify the critical products needed for an end-to-end system.

Systems featured in the 2006/2007 Siemon system catalog include the company's: Category7/Class F TERA twisted pair cabling system; 10G 6A F/UTP end-to-end screened augmented category 6/category 6A system; 10G 6A UTP augmented category 6/category 6A system; XGLO 10-Gbit/sec fiber-optic cable, connectivity and cable management system; LightSystem end-to-end fiber system for 1-Gbit/sec applications; MapIT intelligent patching system (copper and fiber); System 6 high-performance category 6 UTP system; and Premium 5e high-quality category 5e system.

New and notable additions to the catalog include: Siemon copper and fiber cabling; new TERA cable and cord options; enhancements to the company's 10G 6A F/UTP system; additional options in its 10G 6A UTP system; new MapIT software and connectivity options, including 10G 6A F/UTP versions; and copper and fiber trunking cable assemblies.

The company will continue to offer its full-line catalog, with the new version scheduled for launch in 2007. To receive a free copy of the new catalog, go to www.siemon.com/us/company/requests_cart.asp.
