October 18, 2006 -- Guarantee Electrical Company has been selected as the electrical contractor for Bryan Cave LLP's expansion in the Metropolitan Square building in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. ISC Contracting is the general contractor for the project.
According to a press release, the $3.5 million project includes new electrical and low-voltage systems for partner offices, secretarial stations, the accounting department, audio-visual presentation rooms, conference rooms, and an executive dining room for the law firm. Bryan Cave is expanding from 200,000 square feet on six floors to 225,000 square feet on nine floors.
"We've been providing tenant finish and general maintenance service work at Met Square for several years, so we are very knowledgeable about the building," says Philip Jacquot, Guarantee's project director. "In addition, we have the in-house capability to provide both electrical and low-voltage services."
Working in four phases of 12 to 17 weeks each, Guarantee is installing electrical, fire alarm, voice/data, security, and audio-visual systems for Bryan Cave. Guarantee began work on the project in June, and it is scheduled for completion by July 2007.
Guarantee's project team includes: Gary Schaeffer, president of GECO engineering; Craig Schild, project manager; Steve Vrenick, project engineer; and Jacquot. DMTM Rottet/AECOM is the architect.
