March 2, 2007 -- Video surveillance systems provider Vicon Industries Inc. announced that it has hired two new rep firms to handle sales of its products and systems throughout the state of Michigan and parts of Florida.
JC Hanlon Consulting, Inc. (JCHCI - New Baltimore, Michigan) will be responsible for Vicon sales throughout the entire state of Michigan. JCHCI offers a range of information security consulting services, including business impact analysis, risk assessments, security program reviews, disaster recovery and incident response planning, security awareness program development, secure network architecture design, and security policy development. Vicon's video surveillance and management solutions will now be offered within JCHCI's umbrella of services. Founded in 2004 by Jim Hanlon, the firm says it seeks to assist its customers in providing responsible security for employees, facilities and critical business information resources, while complying with regulatory, legal, contractual, industry and policy requirements.
The Connectivity Firm (TCF - Tampa, Florida) will be responsible for Vicon sales in the state of Florida in the territory north from Ft. Myers to West Palm Beach and east of Tallahassee. TCF says its mission is to bridge the gap between the IT and security industries by serving as a professional firm that understands industry convergence. As such, Vicon digital and IP-based surveillance systems fit well within the firm's sales orientation and focus. TCF targets the needs of the traditional security companies and channels that require resources to help implement IP and Web-enabled technologies, as well as datacomm or IT integrators needing a resource for support as they become more involved in the traditional security elements of existing legacy systems.
