FCI-Burndy offers conduit knockout sets

September 18, 2007 -- FCI-Burndy Products has introduced a line of nine knockout sets, designed to punch holes for conduit in distribution boxes, electrical panels and troughs.

September 18, 2007 -- FCI-Burndy Products has introduced a line of knockout sets, designed to punch holes for conduit in distribution boxes, electrical panels and troughs. The line includes nine different sets, each of which is capable of punching various sized holes ranging from one half-inch to four inches.

All of the sets (four of which are hydraulic-based, two of which are ratchet-style) are capable of handling up to 10-gauge mild steel, and feature all necessary punches, dies and accessories. All sets feature a four-point design that allows the slug to drop automatically without splitting. The sets target a range of maintenance functions in the utility, municipal and construction industries.

According to the company, sets include:

Type BKOH2540 (2-½" - 4"); BKOH520A (½"- 2"); BKOH540A (½" - 4"); BKOM152 (1-½" - 2"); BKOM50125 (½" - ¼"); BKOR520 Quick Hand Ratchet Knockout Set (½" - 2"); BKOS520 Self-Contained Hydraulic Knockout Set (½" - 2"); BKOS5290 Self-Contained Hydraulic 360-Degree Knockout Set (½" - 2"); and the BKOW520 Knockout Set with Ratchet Wrench (½" - 2").

The BKOS5290 Hydraulic 360-degree set features a right angle tool that allows the head to swivel 360-degrees for flexible punching in confined workspaces.

Sets are packed in a sturdy storage case and come with a one-year limited warranty.
