September 17, 2007 -- Defem, a cable support system manufacturer based in Sweden, announced that it has completed the installation of its CombiRack system as a means of retrofitting classrooms at the BICSI training facilities in Tampa, FL.
"Defem is pleased to be able to provide BICSI with a highly educational installation system," comments Claes Rosenberg, export manager for Defem. "The combined wire tray and rack system was chosen because of cable control benefits, the adaptability to different cabinet/rack configurations, and its EMC/equipotential bonding capabilities"
"BICSI strives to expose its students to a variety of products during their training in Tampa," says David Cranmer, RCDD, executive director at BICSI.
"This makes the addition of Defem's CombiRack system a valuable addition in our classrooms."
Hyperline Systems Inc. of Norcross, GA is the U.S. distributor for the Defem product line, and provided many of the materials needed to complete the installation.
"Defem's simplicity and interchangeability make it a truly unique wire rack system, comments Alex Nikolaev, CEO of Hyperline. "Once Defem, Hyperline and BICSI began discussions in April, it became obvious that the Defem CombiRack system would be a great training tool for BICSI students."
According to a press release, Cronin Consulting and Marketing Services Inc. of Kennesaw, GA was also instrumental in arraigning the installation agreement between BICSI and Defem.
