June 29, 2007 -- Wiremold/Legrand has introduced its ballroom box, a multi-service floor box designed specifically for rooms that host large gatherings, meetings, mini trade shows, and other functions, but which do not require full-size convention center boxes.

According to the company, the ballroom box combines high capacity for power, communication, and A/V devices with a cover assembly that has a load rating of 10,000 lbs. The box's cover has a carpet cut-out area that allows it to blend into any carpet style. The cover is scrub water compliant for carpet or tile floor applications.
