June 11, 2007 -- Cerco Cable (Montreal, QC), a provider of of specialized cable and accessories for applications including building automation, integrated alarm/security systems, high-bandwidth data telecom, and smart home technology, announced that it has launched "an enhanced, customer-focused" Website and e-catalog.

According to the company, the re-designed website (www.cercocable.com) has been enhanced to help designers, installers and owners of building controls and communications systems to quickly find the information and advice needed to overcome challenges presented by evolving standards, products and technologies.

"We wanted to make our industry-leading expertise even more accessible to our customers," comments Dan Gauthier, president of Cerco Cable. "Our clients are working in highly competitive markets. They count on us for world-class products and quick access to the information and support they need to help them sell more effectively and win more business. We've re-engineered our communications to give them an even better purchasing experience that includes rapid access to key information they need to make informed decisions."

The site also incorporates a Flash presentation regarding the company's "flagship" AT-HOM 29 building automation cable for building controls and automation systems. According to Cerco, the cable was designed in collaboration with manufacturers including Honeywell, Trane, Delta Controls, Carrier, Siemens and Johnson Controls.

"Our customers are busy and the last thing they want to worry about is cable because it represents such a comparatively small portion of the overall cost of a project," continues Gauthier. "But that doesn't change the fact that cable can make or break a system's performance. Cutting corners on cabling can result in spiraling costs when systems run poorly, break down, need maintenance or fail to deliver on their promised returns. Our employees have the knowledge to help customers avoid those consequences. And our new communications provide the tools they need to make confident choices and promote the advantages of quality cable."

Cerco Cable has divisions in Montreal, Quebec and Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
