June 7, 2007 -- Data Comm Electronics, a manufacturer of structured wiring products, recently introduced a combination recessed low voltage cable and recessed 15 Amp/120 Volt power plate.

The product requires only one opening in a wall for a number of applications and is aimed at installers of flat panel TVs, security cameras, and media rooms. It is available through Data Comm's national distributor network.

The company says the product was developed as a result of comments from installers on Data Comm's current offering of recessed low voltage cable plates.

"This product is a direct result of installer input," comments Loye Hutchinson, president of Data Comm. "We are pleased with the user participation in our product development efforts to date."
