October 23, 2007 -- BICSI members have chosen five officers to serve two-year terms on the BICSI board of directors, in voting that ended October 15.
Brian Hansen, RCDD/NTS specialist, has been elected as BICSI President-elect. Hansen is to work side-by-side with incoming BICSI President Ed Donelan, RCDD/NTS specialist, to further BICSI's global standardization and ensure greater membership benefits. Hansen resides in Rosemount, Minnesota and is a specification engineer for Leviton's Voice & Data division.
James (Ray) Craig, RCDD/NTS specialist, has been elected to the position of Treasurer. Craig is owner of Craig Consulting Services in Coppell, Texas.
The following Region Directors were also elected: U.S. Northeast Region Director: Brian Ensign, RCDD/NTS/OSP Specialist; U.S. North-Central Region Director: Jerry Bowman, RCDD/NTS Specialist (incumbent); European Region Director: Brendan (Greg) Sherry, RCDD/NTS/WD Specialist (incumbent).
The new officers will officially be inaugurated in January 2008 during the BICSI Winter Conference at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center in Kissimmee, Florida.
