October 10, 2007 -- At its recent annual conference, the electronic marketing organization Genie Group Inc. awarded HellermannTyton, a manufacturer of cable management systems and network identification products, as its "Supplier of the Year."

According to Genie, the award recognizes outstanding customer service and field support, innovative products, on-time delivery and exceptional partnership policies.

Founded in 1984 and with 78 members with over 175 branch locations, Genie says it provides independent distributors with opportunities to enhance revenues and compete successfully in the marketplace, while presenting premier suppliers with additional distribution avenues and solutions.
