July 23, 2007 -- Westover Scientific has announced release of its HD3 compact video display. Used with the company's probe microscope, the portable display is designed for efficient viewing and inspecting of fiber connector endfaces.

According to Westover, the HD3's compact, ergonomic form presents an ideal solution for technicians in the field or on-the-go. The device features a precision 1.8" TFT LCD screen incorporated into a durable, drop tested enclosure. and is powered by a rechargeable NiMH battery.

The HD3 is available as a standalone display or as a part of select inspection kits.
