RoHS-compliant A/V cabling systems

May 3, 2007 -- Wireworks Corp., a provider of audio/video cabling systems, announced that its entire line of products is now manufactured in compliance with the European Union's Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) directive and the California Electronic Waste Recycling Act.

The RoHS directive was originally established to address concerns regarding the accumulation of hazardous wastes resulting from consumer products. To meet the stringent requirements of the directive, Wireworks' products are manufactured free of lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalant Chromium (CrVI), polybrominated Biphenyls (PBB's) and polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE's).
