February 21, 2007 -- Data Comm Electronics, a manufacturer of structured wiring products, recently appointed Jeff Brown as the company's Regional sales manager for the Western US.
According to a press release, Brown served four years in the US Air Force prior to starting his career in structured cabling and networking. He brings over 15 years of low voltage experience to the newly created position at Data Comm.
Previously, Brown held the positions of national sales manager for ICC, and most recently for Unicom. Brown will be based in Southern California.
"Jeff brings strong commercial networking and structured wiring experience that will enhance our ability to provide innovative solutions employing current and future technologies," comments Loye Hutchinson, president of Data Comm Electronics. "In addition, this new position supports our strategy of providing our unique products on a national scale."
In a related event, Data Comm Electronics announced the appointment of manufacturer's rep firm Thomasson Marketing Group, Inc. to handle the company's sales responsibilities in the Western US, including the states of Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon and Washington.
