Molex Premise Networks announces new president

August 10, 2004 - Dennis Curtis, most recently with CommScope, spent more than 20 years with AT&T-Lucent-Avaya.

Dennis Curtis has been appointed the new president of Molex Premise Networks (www.molexpn.com). He officially took the title July 12. Immediately before his appointment, he held the position of senior vice president, marketing and technology with CommScope. Prior to CommScope's acquisition of Avaya's Systimax division, Curtis was Systimax's general manager.

Curtis's career began more than 20 years ago with AT&T, followed by positions in Lucent Technologies and Avaya. He has worked in a variety of roles, including sales, marketing, product development, and general management; he has worked in Arizona, Georgia, and the Netherlands.

Curtis said he is "delighted" to join Molex, calling it "a truly global organization with worldwide manufacturing facilities and a high level of commitment to developing future product technologies."
