The National Association of Electrical Distributors is expanding its campaign to raise awareness among electrical contractors about the value of doing business with NAED-approved electrical distributors.
The association recently published a new brochure highlighting many of the reasons that NAED distributors make the best partners for success and directing contractors to a searchable online directory of NAED-approved electrical distributors. A list of tips on how electrical contractors can reduce labor costs is also included in the brochure.
The brochure will be mailed to approximately 10,000 management level readers of the National Electrical Contractor Association's Electrical Contractor
magazine. In addition, brochures were included in the September/October issues of the Independent Electrical Contractors Association's magazine, IEC Insights. In addition, each NAED member company delegate will receive a copy of the brochure.
The campaign began last year with full-page ads in Electrical Contractor and IEC Insights, communicating NAED members' commitment to excellence through
training, education, industry information and best practices. Additionally, NAED encouraged member distributors to display the NAED logo prominently in
their businesses. The organization provided indoor and outdoor window stickers, counter cards and high-resolution logos for printed materials for use in businesses and on company vehicles, letterhead, business cards, order forms, invoices and Web sites.
"The feedback we received about our efforts to promote our distributors has been very positive, and we wanted to build on that momentum," says Tom Naber, president of NAED. "We know that our distributor members are best in the business. We want to remind contractors that when they do business with a NAED distributor they are making the best decision for their company and
their customers."
NAED member distributors can request up to 25 brochures from NAED at no charge while quantities last. In addition, a digital file of the brochure is available for members to make reprints and add their own logo to the
brochures for use with their customers.
