Genesis Cable Systems (www.genesiscable.com) recently appointed Steve Sterling to the post of prouct manager. Sterling brings a portfolio of cable-industry experience that spans 20 years, most recently as product manager of low-voltage products at Communications Supply Corp.

In his new role, Sterling has broad product-management responsibility including a focus on new-product development.

"Steve's extensive industry experience will enable us to rapidly deploy our growth initiatives and continue to deliver innovative product solutions to our customers," said Joe Nitiss, vice president of marketing and business development at Genesis. In addition to Communications Supply Corp., Sterling has held marketing and sales positions with Coleman Cable, Wesco, and WireXpress.
