GFC hires new human resources director

Dec. 30, 2004 - Randolph Parker will work in company's Atlanta facility.

GFC is hiring Randolph Parker as human resources director for the company's Southeast region.

Parker will focus on hiring, employee relations, training and development for GFC's operations in Georgia, Virginia and Florida. His office will be based at GFC's Atlanta facility.

Parker brings human resources experience to the position. Most recently, he served as the regional recruiting and development manager for Southeast-Atlantic Beverage. He has also held positions at the Bureau of Census and the U.S. Army.

"Ray brings a proven approach to recruiting and employee development that will enable GFC to expand our workforce to meet the growing demand for fulfillment services in the Southeast," says Ed Clemons, GFC's executive vice president of human resources.

Parker and fellow GFC human resources directors Charles Joerger, Kelly Morello and Mordecai Buckingham will work together to implement GFC's human resources strategies throughout the company's 75 locations.
