UNICOM solution chosen for Florida tower project

April 13, 2004 - UniHome Plus Series to be installed in Fontainebleau II Tower.

UNICOM's UniHome Plus Series home networking system was selected as the solution for the ultra-exclusive Turnberry Fontainebleau II Tower in Miami Beach, FL.

Turnberry Associates, a full-service real estate development and property management firm is developing the Fontainebleau II Tower. The tower is a $230 million, 36-story, 462-unit condominium hotel complex. Each unit will be wired for Internet networking, telephone and home entertainment using Unicom's UniHome Plus Series.

Perfect Reception, a Florida-based company that cables and networks many high-end residential condominiums and hotels, is doing the installation of the UniHome Plus Series home networking system. Michael Hirsch, owner of Perfect Reception, reviewed many systems before choosing Unicom's.

"As an installer, I need my team to work as efficiently as they can," Hirsch says. "Unicom's UniHome Plus Series provided us with the cost saving features we need in a home networking system."

Hirsch says the quality was also a critical factor in his decision.

"The modern home buyers demand quality," Hirsch states. "The UniHome Plus Series delivers that quality."

The UniHome Plus Series is designed to provide flexibility in multimedia applications. It can share DSL Internet and computer peripherals or distribute DBS and music throughout the home."
