Edge Marketing & Procurement adds Fluke Networks to membership

Feb. 18, 2004
Feb. 18, 2004 - Distributor group now offers products from three tester tool manufacturers.

Edge Marketing & Procurement's member distributors in the United States now have access to the entire family of products from three leading test tool brands -- Fluke, Pomona and Meterman.

"Edge's membership consists of great distributors that serve local and regional customers with a broad suite of products, a high level of expertise and a measure of customer service that's very rare in today's commoditized distribution environment," says Mike Jones, marketing manager for Fluke Networks (www.flukenetworks.com),
based in Everett, WA. "Our products bring high value and we require distribution partners who not only appreciate that, but who can also communicate it to customers."

Edge Marketing & Procurement's network of more than 90 local and regional distributors will immediately begin providing customers, including low-voltage technicians, engineers and network professionals with access to the test and measurement tools of all three brands.

The Fluke product line will soon be incorporated into Edge Marketing & Procurement's various marketing and business management programs, joining the Pomona and Meterman brands. Such initiatives include Edge's E-Marketing Program, by which the distributor members build customized "E-flyers" around a wide range of pre-designed advertisement modules, with the member's company logo and any pertinent contact and ordering information already built into the template. These are distributed as an html- or text-based sales flyer to their expansive customer base.

Fluke, Meterman and Pomona will also be featured prominently in Edge's Catalog Program, which provides customized full-reference catalogs for each member at costs that would have otherwise been prohibitive.

Edge Marketing & Procurement Group, based in Houston, Texas, is a member-owned organization of independent distributors and vendors representing the electronic, datacom, broadcast, security and CCTV industries.
