BICSI hosts first in-person conference since February 2020

Aug. 31, 2021
Learning, networking were on the agenda for BICSI’s 2021 Fall Conference and Exhibition in Las Vegas.

Prior to August 2021, the last time BICSI hosted an in-person conference and exhibition, Todd Taylor, RCDD, NTS, OSP, took the gavel from Jeffrey Beavers, RCDD, OSP, CFHP, as BICSI President. On August 24, 2021, Taylor officially opened what will be the final in-person conference before he hands the gavel over to President-Elect Carol Everett Oliver during the Winter 2022 Conference and Exhibition.

So Todd Taylor’s presidency has been unlike that of any of his predecessors, in the same way that BICSI as an association, the ICT industry as a whole, and life on earth in general have been radically different over the past two years from what they had been in a century. But on August 24, when Taylor greeted attendees and kicked off days of learning and networking, there was a sense of a return to normalcy for many.

The BICSI Fall Conference’s theme was “Leading the Future for the Connected World.” Check out our coverage of the sights and sounds from the BICSI 2021 Fall Conference and Exhibition.
