ACS Solutions has reached a deal to acquire the Gepco Brand high-end cabling solutions business from General Cable. When announcing the deal, General Cable described Gepco as “one of the most well-known and respected brands in the professional broadcast industry with an outstanding reputation for unsurpassed quality and performance.” The Gepco product line includes a gamut of professional broadcast, entertainment and AV cable, standard and custom cable assemblies, interconnect and cable-related accessories, and optical-fiber solutions.
Davie Fox, president and chief executive officer of ACS Solutions Inc., commented, “We are very excited to have the opportunity to acquire the Gepco Brand.
