Graybar, Brocade host security integrator training seminars

Nationwide series of free IP training events is aimed at security integrators.

Communications and data networking products distributor Graybar announced that, in conjunction with Brocade, it will host a series of free IP training events for security integrators. The training seminars will be held in seven cities nationwide.

“These seminars will provide opportunities for security integrators to meet and learn from leading IP professionals, receive hands-on training and leave with a more solid understanding of IP networks,” comments Karl Griffith, director, enterprise market for Graybar. “We are excited to work with Brocade to offer these one-day training sessions for our mutual customers.”

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate of course completion, ongoing access to Brocade’s Physical Security Lab, and a promotional voucher to take the Brocade Accredited Physical Security Specialist (BAPSS) exam for free. Space is limited, so participants are encouraged to register in advance. The locations and dates of the training seminars are as follows:

San Jose, Calif. March 21-22
St. Louis April 25
Pittsburgh May 23
Teterboro, N.J. June 27
Forest Park, Ga. July 25
Houston August 22
Philadelphia October 24

Seminars will occur at Graybar branches in each city, with the exception of the San Jose, Calif. seminar, which will take place at Brocade’s headquarters facility. Each seminar is free to registered participants and includes a continental breakfast and networking lunch. Registration and additional information is available at graybar.com.
