The companies say the "partnership will offer end users a complete solution specific to their needs" by incorporating Ipsotek’s advanced video analytics product, VISuite, with IndigoVision’s video security management platform, dubbed SMS4.

Ipsotek’s VISuite video content analysis technology receives video streamed from IndigoVision’s SMS4 platform and identifies predefined events and behavior using a patented Scenario Based Detection (SBD) rule engine.

"[The SBD module] allows multiple behavior detections to be applied simultaneously or in predefined sequences providing a detailed understanding of behavior which dramatically reduces false alarms," said a company representative.
