DVTel’s Latitude Network Video Management System (NVMS) has achieved Intransa’s SELECT Partner Certification, and is now available pre-installed on the Intransa VideoAppliance.

Intransa and DVTel announced that DVTel’s Latitude Network Video Management System (NVMS) has achieved Intransa’s SELECT Partner Certification, and is now available pre-installed on Intransa's VideoAppliance, a plug-in device platform for IP video surveillance, access control, video analytics and other applications.

DVTel’s Latitude NVMS is a fully scalable enterprise class video management system. Its advanced architecture enables simultaneous live monitoring from multiple stations and is easily configurable for storage both on and off site. The Latitude NVMS software can be configured to store and view from one to thousands of cameras and monitor connections across an unlimited number of servers. It is designed to integrate with existing access control, CCTV equipment, and other security applications.

“Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for our customers and integrators to use our products,” said Ed Thompson, CTO, DVTel. “By being certified and pre-installed on Intransa’s Maximum Flexibility and Maximum Choice VideoAppliance product lines it not only provides our customers with peace of mind that the products have been tested and certified to work together but it enhances the customer experience as well.”

Latitude NVMS is one member of DVTel’s Smart Security Solution suite which also includes Solus Video Management System, ioimage intelligent video analytics, advanced security control room applications and the full line of H.264 based High Definition (HD) IP Cameras. DVTel's Smart Security Solution is the only open standards, IP-based security management center that not only unifies DVTel solutions, but integrates third party video, audio, data, access control, trend analysis, alarm management functionality and more into one enterprise physical security operations center.

The Intransa VideoAppliance family is designed to deliver installer-ready IP physical security right out of the box. Each appliance automatically sets itself up, and includes an advanced USB media kit with the customer’s choice of video surveillance, access control, video analytics and other certified applications, ready to be activated and running in just minutes.

With the Intransa VideoAppliance family, customers no longer need to purchase risky and expensive commodity servers and storage systems, untested and lacking video optimization for physical security workloads. Intransa appliances are built to incorporate the power of certified technology, such as DVTel’s Latitude NVMS, in a dependable, risk-free deployment. The Intransa VideoAppliance eliminates servers, storage and integration complexity, while further reducing a customer’s electrical, heating, cooling and overall equipment needs, and all for significant savings.

The Intransa Technology Lab partner certification program has tested hundreds of software and hardware products in the physical security industry. Each product that demonstrates risk-free integration with the Intransa VideoAppliance family achieves the CERTIFIED level. Dozens more physical security vendors have achieved the advanced SELECT or customer-driven SELECT ELITE certification levels for products including video management systems, access control and video analytics. Each SELECT or SELECT ELITE certified software application is available as a preloaded option with Intransa VideoAppliance for simplified installation.
