19-in. equipment rack enclosures support 1000-lb. load capacity

VMP will showcase its new 19-inch equipment rack enclosures, designed especially with AV and security installers in mind, at the 2014 InfoComm show.

Video Mount Products (VMP) will feature its new 19-inch Equipment Rack Enclosure (EREN) series of products at InfoComm 2014, from June 18-20 in Las Vegas, at the company's booth #N1752. Rugged and sturdy with a welded steel construction, a black powder coat finish, and a 1,000 lb. load capacity, the EREN-18 includes 18 rack spaces; the EREN-27 includes 27 rack spaces; and the EREN-42E includes 42 rack spaces. All products are now shipping.

Key attributes of the EREN Series of enclosures include the following: works with all standard 19-inch rack equipment and accessories; rails are threaded with standard 10-32 threading; features a tempered glass front door and double swing steel rear door; features adjustable front and rear rails and a vented top and bottom, as well as top and bottom cable routing knockouts; includes a reversible hinged front and rear door casters and leveling feet.

“The cost-effective, portable, and fully welded EREN family of 19-inch equipment rack enclosures has been designed for installations where protected components are a necessity,” explains Keith Fulmer, president of VMP. “The EREN Series, which comes complete with integrated cooling fans and lockable, removable side panels with optional locks, allows for the organization of multiple electronic components, while at the same time protecting them from thermal issues, as well as damage or theft.”

All products ship assembled. The EREN-18 comes preloaded with three ER-S2UV vented two space rack shelves and three ER-2B blank panels for a MSRP of $749. The EREN-18E has the same configuration as the EREN-18 except without preloaded shelves and blanks for a MSRP of $679. The EREN-27 ships preloaded with five ER-S2UV vented two space rack shelves and five ER-2B blank panels for a MSRP of $859. The EREN-27E has the same configuration as the EREN-27 except without preloaded shelves and blanks for a MSRP of $699. The EREN-42E has a MSRP of $779.
